Hack for rehab - VR4REHAB Hackaton 2018
Virtual Reality (VR) is growing rapidly especially in the fields of health-care and rehabilitation. While this technology makes therapy more fun, challenging and measurable, the state of VR is still in its infancy. The VR4REHAB partners, including the Sint Maartenskliniek are leading specialists in the treatment of disability and pain management. Together with partners from industry, universities and rehabilitation clinics, we aim to develop new VR-applications that promote better function and outcomes for patients with disabilities.
The three-year project VR4REHAB will change rehabilitative care dramatically. For this innovative power we need: IT designers, Programmers, Developers, Entrepreneurs, Health Care Professionals and Patients. Read here all the general information about the hackathons in the VR4REAHB project.
During the VR4REHAB Hackathon 2018, we will bring these groups together in intense and focused sessions. The ingredients: three days (25-26-27th of October 2018), various teams, multiple ideas and a load of innovations.
